In the ABC Match of the Round, it was off to Unley Oval for the clash between Sturt and Norwood. Unley was a muddy, slippery bog that afternoon and the rain didn't help with ball handling either.
Sturt broke away early to be 23 points up at half time, the following quarter was less plentiful in the way of scores, Norwood closing the gap by a few points at the end of the third term. The Double Blues finally stamped their authority on the match, booting away to a 32 point victory and edging their way to the double chance in the finals.
