The Bulldogs travelled to Noarlunga to face the Panthers... and were well and truly ambushed.
The Panthers took apart the reigning premier quickly from the first bounce, kicking 9.6 to 3.4 in the first term. The second quarter didn't bring too many goals for either side, both teams booting three goals each with South in the lead by 35 points. With Daniel Schell copping a knock to the head the gap between the two sides didn't get too much smaller in the third quarter, both sides bagging five goals each. The South Adelaide faithful will be lapping this one up for a while as their heroes romped home by 37 points, leaving Central in a bad position leading into their match at Alberton next week.
