Friday night lights at Adelaide Oval, where the Double Blues and the Roosters came to rumble... and what a spectacle it was. The Blues have had some great victories in recent times under the lights of Adelaide, but tonight they would be tested well.
North started off taking the first quarter lead of three points, even after allowing their rival to hit the front twice after some bad play handed them 25m penalties. The Blues quickly took the lead again in the second term by three points, the game turning into a see-saw contest. The Roosters again outscored the Blues in the third quarter, 3.2 to 2.3 to lead by two points at the third term siren, however the final quarter saw Luke Jarjoura play hero again, this time his inaccuracy giving Sturt the win by two points.
On the brighter side for Rooster fans, Hargraves booted six goals.
