On the public holiday, Glenelg and West Adelaide went head to head on Monday afternoon.
West showed signs of improvement this week, trailing by a mere 13 points at quarter time. The Bloods kept the Tigers from really running away with it in the second term, kicking 2.4 to 1.2 to bring them back to within a goal of the lead. But old habits die hard, and so did the Bloods as the home side blew the game apart with their third term efforts. West scored 3.2 to the Tiger's 7.4... their first half efforts went to waste really quick. The pain continued into the last term, where the visitors managed a crappy four behinds to Glenelg's 4.3. Rehn could be heard from the changerooms giving his men a severe verbal blast after the game, his team going down by nine goals.
