At Broadspectrum Oval, it was a battle of the cellar dwellers, Westies playing host to the Redlegs. For the Bloods, a win would bring them a little closer to avoiding a wooden spoon.
But that didn't look likely today, severely depleted by injuries, the Bloods found themselves down by 15 points at the quarter time siren. The Redlegs kept the home team to a single behind while kicking 3.2 in the second term. The Bloods best effort was after half time, but 3.3 was not enough to close in on the Legs, who added 13 points to their score. West only managed 1.2 in the final term, Norwood ran away to a 31 point win to celebrate Troy Clements' 200th SANFL game.
