The ABC Match of the Round was played out down at Glenelg Oval, where the Tigers met the Roosters.
It began as a really close contest, the visitors took a one point lead to end the first quarter. Inaccuracy at the goals cost North a chance at a big lead in the second term, they had seven scoring shots to Glenelg's four perfect shots. The lead changed hands at half time, the Tigers one point up. After the break, North began dismantling the home side much to the disbelief of the Glenelg crowd. With Danny Hargraves back from suspension, the Roosters ran rampant. Eight goals to the Tigers two in the third quarter saw North rocket out to a 40 point lead. Far from the outfit that capitulated to Centrals last week, North just went on their merry little way for the rest of the game and won by 51 points.
