At Broadspectrum Oval, the Roosters came to crash Westies party as the Bloods honoured their past greats with their newly established WAFC Hall of Fame and a specially made heritage guernsey. Unfortunately for those former Bloods that attended, there was not going to be much to cheer about.
The Roosters broke away to a 23 point lead at the end of the first term, then slowed down to a crawl in the second where they kicked 1.2 to West's 2.2. The past greats would not have been happy with their men as a dust up started in front of the juniors at half time, surprisingly not a single report was made. When play resumed, the visitors started another goal fest, 6.4 to 3.4 which saw the Roosters stretch their lead to 35 points. A disappointing end for the Bloods' day, a 1.3 to North's 3.3 saw the Roosters home by 46 points. Danny Hargraves kicked five goals.
