Match Report

The Panthers took their game against the Bloods to their country zone heartland in Victor Harbor.

A crowd of a little over 2,000 locals and town visitors headed for Encounter Bay Oval, where the two teams started off with a drawn first term, 27 points a piece. The second term was a little more spirited, the Panthers getting out to a 16 point lead at half time. The Damian Cupido and Ben Warren show was truly on during the second half, as the Panthers began taking the Bloods to pieces with their 6.3 to 1.2 third term effort. South Adelaide finished the day off in fine fashion, they kicked a further 5.2 to West's innacurate 3.5 saw the 'home' side win by 56 points.

Cupido and Warren, along with standout David Clarke were among South's best, while Ben Haynes tireless attitude for West saw him named best for the Bloods.
