On the Queen's Birthday holiday, it was off to the Bay for the match between the Tigers and the Redlegs. A nice sized crowd gathered for this one, anticipating a closely fought match.
That was not going to happen, the Redlegs quickly found themselves under siege and down by 41 points at quarter time. The 'Legs only managed one solitary behind in this term, the Tigers booted 6.6. The Tiger machine was really grinding in the second term, again the Redlegs disappointing their fans by only scoring 1.2 to Glenelg's 9.3. The Tigers seemed to have used all their goal kicking fuel when they came back after the long break, but the Redlegs were just not up to building a sufficient comeback run. In the third quarter, the 'Legs kicked 3.4 to the Bays' 2.3, the Tigers still up by 83 points. Despite not finishing the job as the Tigers fans probably hoped, they were still on cloud nine as their boys ran out 78 point winners.
Thomas Logan was named best for Glenelg, while Mitchell Sandery was named Norwood's best.
