The ABC Match of the Round saw the cameras head to Prospect Oval, where the Roosters faced off against the Panthers, who seemed to have lost their killer touch as of late.
The Roosters weren't going to let this one go, and began the day with a 6.2 to 3.0 first term to lead by 20 points at quarter-time. South found themselves in real trouble afterwards, the Roosters ramming home 8.5 to 4.1 to lead by eight goals at the half-time break. When the teams came back for the third term, it would be a shoot-out quarter as both sides kicked four goals each. The only difference was a behind that North scored, which put their lead up to 43 points at three-quarter time. South left their best until last by kicking 5.4, but despite North's inaccurate final term -- they kicked 3.6 -- the Roosters still ran out 39 point winners.
Scott Bamford was named best for North, while Kyle Archard was voted best for South.
