We take a look at the clash between the Redlegs and the Eagles.
The players from The Parade were out for their fourth win in a row, and although only leading by seven points at the end of the first quarter after booting 4.3 to the Eagles' 3.2, the Redlegs broke the Eagles in half in the following term. Through men like Jamie Vlatko, the visitors landed home 7.2 to 1.3 in the second term to lead by 42 points at half time. But the punishment didn't stop there for the reigning premiers, the Redlegs continued in the third term, although the gap could have been worse if they didn't get five goals from ten scoring shots. At the final change the Norwood lead was 65 points. The Eagles final quarter effort would not bring any rewards, they kicked 5.2 to the 'Legs 3.1 to reduce the loss to 52 points.
The Redlegs, who now sit in fourth position, named Kieran McGuiness as their best while the Eagles' Bernie Vince received best afield honours.
