Match Report

We head to Adelaide's inner-east, down The Parade to Coopers Stadium where the Bulldogs went to face the Redlegs. This year's encounters between the two teams haven't been exactly memorable for the home side, a total of 220 points separated the two thus far.

A bit of arrogance on Centrals part saw them up by just 11 points at quarter time, Centrals booting 4.3 to 2.4 for the first term. But Centrals dropped that act in the second quarter as they kicked 6.5 to Norwood's 1.3 to be up by 43 points at the long break. The Dogs fans at the ground got restless as the Redlegs took their time returning to the field, the Bulldogs players on the other hand made them pay for making them wait. Another 5.3 to the visitors to the Redlegs' 2.2 saw the gap jump out to 62 points. In the final quarter, the Dogs seemed to have taken their foot off the accelerator. Not that Norwood's 3.3 made too much difference, the Dogs had done the damage already and ran out winners by 51 points. Centrals have the bye next week, they also collect the minor premiership and another week off.

Paul Thomas was named best afield for the Dogs while the Redlegs voted in James Gallagher as their standout.
