The ABC cameras were down at the Bay for the match between the Tigers and the Roosters at Gliderol Stadium. Its been nine games of pain for the Roosters when they've played the Bays, a 47-point belting at Tiger-land in Round 12 and a three-point loss at Prospect in Round 5 this year.
The Roosters were able to match it with the Tigers early on this time, only down by one point -- 4.3 to 4.2 -- at quarter-time. A dull second quarter saw both teams kick a single goal each, the Tigers would be up by four points at the half-time break thanks to a few behinds. But that aforementioned record would be about to tick over to 10 games as the Tigers came back to the field for the second half with malicious intent in their eyes. Glenelg would kick 7.3 to North's lowly 1.3, the four point gap at half-time suddenly exploded 10-fold. At the last change the Tigers held a 40-point advantage. With the damage done, the Tigers just toyed with the Roosters in the final quarter. They scored 4.2 to North's 3.3, the final gap would be 45 points.
Glenelg named Matthew Bode as their best afield, while North named James Bennett as their standout.
