Trevor Hill achieved virtually everything he would have wanted from the game except participation in a senior premiership. Between 1974 and 1986 he played a total of 206 league games, the vast majority - 169 - with North Adelaide, with the remaining 37 for West Torrens from 1981 to 1983. He also represented South Australia four times. In 1978 he was voted the Roosters’ best and fairest player, and he topped their goal kicking list on three occasions. Trevor Hill was non-playing coach of Norwood from 2006 to 2009, with a semi-final appearance in 2008 the Redlegs' best effort under his guidance.
