It was off to The Parade as the Bloods paid a visit to the Redlegs for some Friday Night footy.
It was a closely fought match throughout the night, Norwood taking the first term lead of nine points. Inaccuracy at the Redleg goal allowed the Bloods to stay in touch, Norwood leading by 11 points at the half-time siren. Norwood kicked ahead in the third quarter, Robbie Neill kicking his 200th goal and it seemed that Norwood had the game won. However, the Westies charges fired up for a last ditch attempt to snatch victory, and through Jason Porplyzia and Pat Wiggins they did just that. Porplyzia with four goals in 12 minutes and Wiggins bagged two in eight minutes. The Redlegs were left shell shocked as the visitors won by nine points.
