Pre 1965 stats are for selected matches only

AFL: 4,294th player to appear, 3,471st most games played, 1,164th most goals kickedSt. Kilda: 716th player to appear, 223rd most games played, 66th most goals kicked

Alby Weiss joined St Kilda from Melbourne High School and made his senior VFL debut in round nine 1935. Although he struggled to cement a place in the side he was impressive enough when selected. Pacy, with good vision, he revelled in the open spaces and loved to run with the ball. He also boasted a keen goal sense, as his career tally of 94 goals in 69 VFL matches over eight seasons makes apparent. He played most of his football with the Saints on a half forward flank.
