Bob Wiggins was at Richmond between 1942 and 1951 but for much of that time he was in and out of the seniors, and in fact only played 68 senior games compared with 70 in the reserves. He lined up mostly at full back, although he could also perform effectively in the ruck. His prodigious kicking was possibly the stand-out feature of his game. After leaving the Tigers he captain-coached Keysborough and later played for Kilcunda.
