From North Alphington, Jack Parker was a dependable and versatile performer for Collingwood in 59 VFL games between 1951 and 1955, during which he scored 11 goals. His last game in a black and white jumper was the 1955 grand final in which Collingwood succumbed to Melbourne by 28 points.
