Geelong’s Norm Scott was a determined and courageous half back who typically ran straight at the ball, regardless of obstacles, whether hostile or friendly. Once he had possession of the ball he was adept at setting up plays. He joined the Cats from East Geelong and went on to play 101 VFL games and score four goals for them from 1946 to 1952.
