Originally from Scotch College Peter Brown was a serviceable player for Fitzroy from 1977 to 1980, playing 44 VFL games and scoring 16 goals. He spent the 1981 season with Glenelg in the SANFL where his 14 appearances included the losing grand final clash with Port Adelaide, when he lined up on a wing. He rounded off his career with Old Scotch in the VAFA.
