Peter Bell was a lanky, 188cm, 82.5kg half forward flanker who hailed from East Sandringham Football Club and registered 33 VFL games and 33 goals for St Kilda between 1973 and 1977. His best season was 1974 when he played 10 games and scored 15 goals. However, for the most part he was only a fringe player. After leaving the Saints midway through the 1977 season he joined VFA first division side Sandringham where he made 43 senior appearances and kicked 101 goals from 1977 to 1981.
