A half back flanker, Roy Sitch joined North Melbourne from Fawkner and gave the club steady service in 63 VFL games from 1936 to 1940, during which he booted two goals. He closed his playing career with Coburg in 1941, the VFA’s last season before going into mothballs because of the war. He played 19 games for the Lions and scored four goals.
