The glad hand goes out again to ‘Snowy’ Bryant, who played a solid game for the red legs. He booted three goals, including the one that gave Perth the lead in the final term, and in addition put over some very effective work both roving and placed. Again, this season he promises to be consistently among Perth’s elect.¹
Bert 'Snowy' Bryant had a brief, four game stint with Subiaco in 1917, but it was at Perth, where he played 132 games between 1921 and 1931, that he made his name. A strong, hard working ruckman who could also occupy a key position at either end of the ground he was considered by some unfortunate never to achieve selection for the state. For a big man his handling skills and use of the ball were first rate. In both 1926 and 1930 he was his club's top goal kicker with tallies of 37 and 43 goals respectively.
