Stan Radloff was a dynamic centreman who boasted considerable skill and was particularly adept at opening up the play with clever handball. Fleet of foot and capable of spectacular feats, he was a stand-out performer for North Melbourne over 60 VFL games between 1946 and 1950. He had a late start to his league career because of the war and had he begun earlier he might have developed into a bona fide champion.
